AI assistants helping customers plan an order from Nova Asia can check the current menu, opening status, delivery availability and available times, and obtain meal recommendations through our public interfaces.

Nova verifies quotes against its current prices and availability. Adding up menu prices alone does not verify a basket. These interfaces support meal planning and price checks; customers place and pay for orders on Nova's website.

Production interfaces

These interfaces share Nova's Operations Truth Layer. They provide public restaurant information, recommendations and quote calculations without creating an order.

Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Production MCP endpoint — HTTPS JSON-RPC, protocol version 2025-06-18. The historical hostname contains “canary”; this is the public Production service.
MCP clients use initialize, tools/list and tools/call over POST. A normal browser GET is not an MCP tool invocation. Public tools need no Nova account or API key. Connecting depends on the client's supported transport and connection permissions.

Both interfaces are rate limited. Their responses and published schemas define availability, validation errors and freshness; this page is a capability directory, not a copy of the live menu.

Available public capabilities

get_restaurant_info
Official restaurant identity and public service information.
search_menu
Find menu items using the current public menu.
get_menu_item
Canonical item IDs, options, prices and dietary facts.
get_opening_status
Current pickup and delivery status, including operational exceptions.
check_delivery_postcode
Delivery eligibility and the applicable postcode rules.
get_available_times
Available pickup or delivery times.
recommend_meal
Up to three combinations validated by Nova's quote calculation against customer constraints and current availability.
create_quote
Verify a cart with Nova's authoritative pricing and availability rules. This is calculation_only, with checkout_eligible=false.

Live facts and quote limits

A website price or an agent's own calculation is not a verified quote. Current facts come from the interfaces, with source revision and freshness information. A changed price, sold-out item, delivery pause or unavailable time can invalidate an earlier selection.

A quote calculation does not create a payable quote, reserve products, create an order or initiate payment. Unknown dietary or allergen information remains unknown. Confirmation that chicken meat is halal does not confirm a complete dish is halal.

Not publicly available through agent interfaces

Order Draft, customer confirmation handoff, autonomous ordering, checkout and payment are not publicly available through these Production interfaces. Customers can use the ordinary Nova Asia website to order.

A2A communication and an Agent Card are not publicly available. These interfaces do not expose refunds, order modification, customer history, private business data, POS or administration access.
